Harold Pinter: „No Man's Land“
- Year of publication: 1975
- Land of publication: Great Britain
- German title: Niemandsland
On the 23th April 1975 the theatre play “No Man's Land” directed by Peter Hall was performed the first time in the National Theatre of London. In this play the author again picked up old topics and motives like harassment, mysteriousness, power struggle, homelessness and vulnerability. Also manipulated commemorations, which change the borders between fiction and reality, play a role again. But now they are extended by the experience of the old age and the fear of future. Three poets demonstrate a subtle static warfare and role plays as a result of their disability to communicate. The german debut performance directed by Boy Gobert was on 29th November 1975 in the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg.
